TRON: Evolution

 Created and released in conjunction with Disney's feature-film sequel, Tron: Evolution is a collection of digital-grid competitions, tied to story events taking place between 1982's original TRON and 2010's TRON: Legacy. The various console and handheld versions of the title are set at different places within the timeline. The PSP game focuses on 1989.
The single-player adventure unfolds through a series of grid games, featuring light cycle racing, tactical tank combat, and disc battles that are fought from an overhead perspective. With each victory on the grid, players reveal episodes in the TRON storyline, allowing the characters to gain strength and earn customizable upgrades. The ultimate goal: triumph in each competition along the road to becoming the champion of the digital grid games.
